If you decide to purchase the DIY KIT, it is recom- mended that you purchase the Laser diode and the Batteries too. This way you will receive these components more or less at same time that you will receive the DIY KIT.

Whom is this option for?

If you are on a moderate budget and don’t mind spending 2-4 hours of your time soldering the electrical components, this is the option for you. You don’t have to worry about ordering every single component from different parts of the world and wait to receive every single one of them before you can start working on the project. We have already done this work for you.

 

What skills do you need?

No need for fancy CNC mill or lathe machines, since you will already receive the aluminum housing. You need only a 15$ solder, basic soldering skills and 2-4 hours to connect the components.

 

Price

Please note that on top of the price for the Aluminum host and all the small electrical components and wires, you will need to spend an additional 230$ for the Laser diode and the LiPo batteries.

The reason why we don’t ship these two components is that they are tricky to order in bulk since they frequently get stopped at customs (when ordered in bulk). Additionally those same customs would not like a full KIT for a laser saber filled with LiPo batteries traveling internationally. 

On another hand if you buy them individually one piece at a time there won’t be any problem at the customs at all and you WILL receive these components.
